Family Fun Fair

A Family Promise Hudson County & Girl Scouts Troop 12912 Collab

Family Promise of Hudson County recently had the pleasure of collaborating with Girl Scouts Troop 12912 to host our very first Family Fun Day Fair!

It was an incredible, children-friendly event filled with exciting games, fun activities, and countless moments of joy for families to enjoy together. We were thrilled to offer a variety of activities that kept the little ones entertained and engaged, while also providing opportunities for the entire family to bond and make lasting memories.

Throughout the day, attendees had the chance to participate in raffles, win door prizes, and enjoy the vibrant atmosphere that was created by our wonderful volunteers and partners. The event was a true celebration of community, bringing families together for a day of fun and connection.

We are grateful to everyone who came out to support us, and to the Girl Scouts Troop 12912 for their dedication and hard work in helping bring this event to life. It was a memorable day that will be cherished by all who attended!

An Evening of Promise Gala:

Bridging a Better Future Together

Click and scroll through our event journal below!

An Evening of Promise Gala: Bridging a Better Future Together was a celebratory fundraiser cocktail party gala that honored Councilman James Solomon, Councilman Yousef Saleh, Councilman Frank “Educational” Gilmore, United Way of Hudson County's Director of Housing Services Carmel Galasso, JSQCA - Affordable Housing Task Force, and The Community Builders, Inc. in recognition of their contributions to assisting marginalized families in Hudson County through their efforts in affordable housing advocacy. The celebration took place on Wednesday, October 16th, from 6 - 9 p.m. at the Chandelier in Bayonne.

From delicious refreshments to amazing music, from fun raffles to an overall great time, all helped make the night one to remember! However, one thing in particular did this more than any of those combined: your support.

From sponsors, like Panepinto Properties and the Moderate Income Management Co. Inc., to journal advertisement buyers, from attendees to volunteers, and many more, we truly appreciate your generosity in supporting this event and we cannot wait to see the future we are all working towards!

Thus, on behalf of the Family Promise of Hudson County Board of Trustees, the staff, and most importantly the many families we serve, thank you all so much for helping us prove that together WE can have a great time for an even greater cause!

Mark the Moment

Mark the Moment: The Promise Awards was a celebratory fundraiser cocktail party honoring all of the past dedicated FPHC Board Members, wonderful volunteers, compassionate houses of worship, and generous organizations who have helped Family Promise of Hudson County since our inception. These volunteers truly deserved this recognition as without them, we would not have been able to assist as many Hudson County families as we have since 2018. The celebration took place August 14th, from 5:30-8:30 p.m. at Grace Van Vorst Church in Jersey City (39 Erie St, Jersey City, NJ 07302).

The delicious refreshments, amazing music, fun raffles, and overall great time helped make the night one to remember! However, one thing in particular did this more than any of those combined: your support.
